Virginia
The Legin Group is currently providing Cost Estimating/Engineering
support to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National
Energy Technology Laboratory. Legin supports the
DOE Applied Cost Engineering (ACE) Team, which was
established to promote continuous cost improvements
through the dissemination of cost engineering tools,
methods, techniques, best practices, and lessons
learned from across the DOE Complex. In addition
to participating in Baseline Reviews, Legin has
developed or participated in the development of:
Hazardous, Toxic Radioactive Waste (HTRW) Work Breakdown
Structure
Environmental Cost Element Structure (ECES)
ECES Dictionary
ECES Training Manual
Cost Estimating Lessons Learned Training Workshop
Technology and Environmental Attribute Trees for
the Environmental Cost Analysis System (ECAS)
ECAS, a data collection, maintenance, and analysis
system for environmental
cost and performance data
RACER enhancement for DOE and Review of models for
accuracy
Cost Risk, a project risk assessment tool, development
and testing
